Real life screaming pictures with Santa

This is why i don’t do a lot of Santa pics. Most kids are terrified. Here are some great examples. Even my son, the pro….got really nervous on Santa’s lap this year. You MUST see these.  FYI these are NOT my images hheehheeehheee.

How to Prepare for the ski season-aka-Why I don’t ski very often.

This is sent to remind skiers how to prepare for the ski season
and to remind non-skiers why they do not ski.

10. Visit your local butcher and pay $30 to sit in the walk-in
freezer for half an hour. Afterwards, burn two $50 dollar bills
to warm up.

9. Go to the nearest hockey rink and walk across the ice 20 times
in your ski boots carrying two pairs of skis, accessory bag and
poles. Pretend you are looking for your car.

8. For ski boot simulation at home, put a pebble in your street
shoes and tighten a C-clamp around your toes.

7. Buy a pair of gloves and immediately throw one away.

6. Go to McDonald’s and insist on paying $6.50 for a hamburger.
Be sure to wait in the longest line.

5. Clip a lift ticket to the zipper of your jacket and ride a
motorcycle fast enough to make the ticket lacerate your face.

4. Drive slowly for five hours – anywhere – as long as it’s in a
snowstorm and you’re following an 18 wheeler.

3. Fill a blender with ice, hit the pulse button and let the
spray blast your face. You’d almost believe you’re skiing in
front of a snowmaker!

2. Dress up in as many clothes as you can and then proceed to
take them off because you have to go to the bathroom.

1. Repeat all of the above every Saturday and Sunday.

Childrens Holiday Parade on December 6

This is an awesome Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce local event that is rapidly growing. It is a childrens holiday parade and tree lighting at Wesley Chapel District Park featuring Santa on a fire truck. Cool ! Even cooler is that I get to take pics of Santa! What an honor. So bring the kiddies and decorate their trikes/wagons for the childrens parade and tree lighting.

Goodnight Mom

a friend sent this to me, and I think you will enjoy this version :)

Goodnight Mom

In the messy green
family room
There was a telemarketer
ringing the telephone
and a crying toddler
because his brother just popped his red balloon
And a picture of-

The cow jumping over the moon
(which someone colored on with permanent marker)
And there was a missing
teddy bear, and a girl with gum in her hair

And one to be scolded
And laundry to be folded
And a very hungry Spouse
And something stinky in the house
(that no one else seemed to smell)

And a comb and a brush and a colicky
baby who just won’t shush
And a frazzled mommy screaming &^$#*^%

Goodnight messy room
Goodnight scribbled-on moon
Goodnight cow getting out while she can
Goodnight telemarketers and the
popped balloon

Goodnight long-gone teddy bear
Goodnight cereal bar smeared all
over the dining room chair

Goodnight spitup
And goodnight leaky sippy cup
Goodnight much-too-little house and
goodnight grumpy spouse
Goodnight comb and goodnight brush
And goodnight to a certain 4-year-old
she just needs to hush right now and i mean it

Goodnight Elmo
Goodnight toys we’ll pick up tomorrow,
or the next day

Honeymoon island enganement

Honeymoon Island apparently got pummeled by the recent storms in the gulf. It was like the moon. Sooo rocky with pulled up trees, shells and jellyfish everywhere and mangroves rooted. It was so much more than I expected. Still beautiful none-the-less.
